Trainer (m/f/d) for PHP Web Development

Your tasks

As a PHP Web Development Trainer (m/f/d) at WBS CODING SCHOOL you will play a key role in the learning success of our budding developers. In our 15 week PHP Web Development Program you will provide online classes as well as classroom training at our Coding Campus in Berlin. You will conduct regular workshops for our students and offer support for any challenges that may arise.

This includes:

12 weeks of subject-related lessons on our virtual learning platform (remote office possible) plus 3 weeks of classroom training at our Coding Campus in Berlin with lessons taking place between 9:00 and 18:00
Conducting lessons as well as workshops and live coding sessions on a regular basis (in English)
Together with our Head of Training and your fellow trainers, you will continuously develop our curriculum and make sure it is always up-to-date
Conceptualizing and applying various teaching methods for class Participation in quality assurance measures

You promote and strengthen the students’ self-competence, you create a trustful learning environment and make sure that your participants always feel well supported. You are passionate about innovative technologies and are always up-to-date. You know exactly how to prepare technology talents in a continuously developing world in the best possible way. You interact successfully and confidently within international groups.

Your profile:

3+ years of work experience as a professional developer
PHP, Symfony, JavaScript, SQL, NoSQL and Git are your daily business tools
You are familiar with topics related to DevOps (e.g. Docker, Travis..) and agile methods (e. g. Scrum)
You love sharing your knowledge and results with the students and the team
You respond empathically to your students' needs
Excellent spoken and written English
Teaching experience is a plus
You are a self-starter and have a strong ability to work independently
